Halloween Party

3:30pm 31.10.2008

On Friday, October 31, 2008, the Vanadzor American Corner (VAC) organized a Halloween party. The aim of the event was to bring some of the American “spirit” of Halloween to Armenia.

Prior to the event, a group of students met and decorated the VAC room by making posters, cutouts and by carving pumpkins. A Peace Corps Volunteer, Davor Kostovich, helped by offering advice and by explaining about Halloween.

During the event on October 31st, some members of the public who were interested in Halloween came to VAC. There were 10 participants who competed for the best costume. Following the competition, book prizes were awarded and there was a pumpkin carving competition. This was followed by additional games and activities.
